What a great way to start your holiday shopping by ordering Scrip gift cards!  You can use Scrip to buy gifts, or as the kids get older, let them shop with gift cards from American Eagle, Borders, Parisian, or Gander Mountain and hang out at Starbucks, AMC, or Goodrich Theatre (Oxford). There are plenty of Scrip gift cards to choose from and what better way to a jump start on your shopping and give back to the band.

WHAT IS SCRIP AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

SCRIP is a powerful fundraising tool because families generate revenue through purchases they would make anyway. Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with SCRIP. An organization of 150 families easily spends between one and two million dollars per year on food, clothing and other essentials. If these families use SCRIP for these purchases, they can raise as much as $40,000 to $80,000 per year for their organization --without spending an additional penny! 

It's easy to order....

1)  Order Scrip (gift cards) by filling out the attached form (feel free to note your Hollywood Market order - quantity and denomination of $25, $50, $75 or $100-- on the attached form) or you can order Great Lakes Scrip online.

2)   Attach a check payable to LOBB to your order form/print out of your online order. 

3)   Deposit the form & payment in the locked Scrip Box in the band room or drop it by/mail it to optional location given in the email.

4)   Orders will be distributed on the scheduled dates.

5)    LOBB receives the % discount indicated (Hollywood Market is 5%)!

In addition, volunteers are need to help with Scrip. If you have an interest, assistance is needed to place the orders, sort & distribute Scrip, and calculate profit.  We'd also like to be able to stock Scrip to sell at band meetings/events in the future.
